So I just came across the Sound BlasterX AlphaPad Mini and it looks awfully similar to the discontinued Zowie G-TF Speed, which to my knowledge doesn't have an exact replacement, although the GTF-X looks close. Does anyone know if they truly are the same, or is the AlphaPad a more traditional soft mat without the nice woven surface of coated threads that is employed on the G-TF Speed?

I'm curious what you all are using for zooming. Do you use the cg_zoomToggle 0 | 1? And what do you have bound for +zoom?

If I set M_CPI = 0, shouldn't SENSITIVITY control how fast my mouse moves my POV? It doesn't...can anyone help me figure out why?

FINALLY the Michigan winter is breaking and I got my bike out of storage in the garage and went for my first ride of the season. Anyone else psyched to be riding again!?

Also, despite the retarded change to Michigan state law to allow riding without a helmet, I still ride with one every single time. Any of you guys out there have a similar change in state law and stopped wearing a helmet as a result?

Hey guys, just want to get some input on whether I should be matching com_maxfps to my monitor refresh rate (i.e., refresh = 120hz, com_maxfps = 120), or if I should still stick with the (current) max of com_maxfps = 125. My logic/intuition says that if I was previously playing on a 60hz monitor and com_maxfps = 125 felt better than com_maxfps = 120 or 60 (for an extreme example), then 125fps should still be the better choice. Agreed? Or just wishful thinking?

Feel free to also weigh in on how this discussion might be affected by the rumored upcoming option to set com_maxfps = 250?

Does anyone know if cog has a learning disability or mental illness (being serious)? He goes absolutely bonkers at me when we're online together and we've only ever had fine games together. Seems like any response of mine, even kindness, just sets him off more, so I'm wondering if I might actually be causing some real-life strife for him. Not what I want, just want to play some freaking QL without having to deal with spastics calling me names for no reason :-(
