The Gathering is the world's second biggest LAN-party and held annually every easter in Norway Hamar. This year they have decided to drop Counter-Strike 1.6 and push forward games like StarCraft 2 and Heroes of Newerth.


See gathering.org for ticket information and source. They have no-seat tickets and foreigner-tickets as well. This give all foreigners a 50% discount on tickets.

This year's game competitions will provide all kinds of gamers something to look forward to. Here we collect the best from the team vs team, player vs player and console gaming. It is a mixture of old classics and new games. The game competitions starts on Wednesday and ends on Saturday.

PC

• Counter-Strike 1.6
• Counter-Strike:Source
• Quake Live
• DotA
• Trackmania Nations

XBOX

• Tekken 6
• FIFA 2010

Prices will be announced later in january. Expected to be at previous year level. (Prizes listed in NOK) Approximately 2600Euro in the Quake Live tournament. This year there is also tournament-PC's, so no BYOC in Quake Live. Only tournament-PC's. More info on www.gathering.org soon.

The ticket allows you to attend all tournaments except DotA NO SEAT INCLUDED, NO COMPUTERS NEEDED! If a seat wanted - you must buy a ticket included seat. Questions? Send an e-mail to game at gathering dot org.

Foreigner tickets
We also offer a special price for the foreginers. If you're not a norwegian citizen, or a norwegian citizen living outside Scandinavia - please apply for a foreigner ticket in our shop. Please note that you will have to prove that you're eglible for these tickets by providing copies of travel-documents like airplane/train-tickets and a valid ID.
