They haven't mentioned anything about it being multiplayer, and so far it looks like a singleplayer title. Not sure how a singleplayer shooter meant to compete with a multiplayer shooter.

Unless said game/series has a die-hard fanbasel ike for example Shenmue 3 which I did indeed buy on Epic Games because I was that desperate to play the sequel that came out almost 20 years later it will hurt it a lot I agree.

Good point. It seems you don't believe in any commercial success of your game when you release on Epic, and just want to have "released game with decent quality' checkmarked, as an advertisement for funding to build your next game where you hope to be successful
I don't think anyone cares about another pretty looking FPS game with no IP that tuggs at their emotions anymore.
Few games have that luxury and those that do will sell millions even if its a turd.
There is an obvious gap in the market IMO. its so obvious its burning a hole in my keyboard but I would not express it in text form for someone else to rip and try out.
